As the senior manager on site during nights, you'll take ownership of both kitchen and front‑of‑house operations, ensuring outstanding food, service, safety, and team performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead all night‑time catering operations, taking responsibility for both kitchen and front‑of‑house services.
- Deliver high‑quality food production and provide hands‑on culinary support when required.
- Ensure excellent customer service and a seamless customer experience throughout the night.
- Manage stock, food costs, labour budgets, and overall operational performance.
- Drive service standards, client satisfaction, and achievement of KPIs and contract objectives.
- Maintain full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company procedures.
- Lead, motivate, train, and develop the night team to create a positive, high‑performing culture.
- Oversee vending operations, ensuring machines are stocked, compliant, and fully operational.
- Respond effectively to operational challenges and ensure smooth, efficient service delivery at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Head Chef, Chef Manager, or Senior Chef.
- Strong culinary skills with a hands‑on approach.
- Experience managing front‑of‑house operations and customer service.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to make effective decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, health & safety, and compliance standards.
