Are you passionate about developing people and driving technical excellence? We are looking for a Regional Training Manager to lead the design and delivery of high-impact training programmes for technicians across the region.
What do we expect from you
In this role, you will be at the forefront of shaping technical capability, ensuring compliance with regulations, including the Building Safety Act, and supporting continuous professional development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align training with operational goals, product launches, and industry standards.
The successful candidate will need to live in close proximity to the M25, or within the South East of England. This is a regional role, and the post holder will be required to attend our Head Office in Ashford, Kent on a regular basis to provide training to our non-field based colleagues. There will also be a requirement to travel throughout the UK to fulfil the duties of the need on a regular basis.
Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Deliver engaging technical and product training through face-to-face, virtual, and toolbox talk formats.
- Ensure sessions are interactive, relevant, and aligned with current technologies and technician needs.
Programme Design & Development
- Create tailored training programmes and launch-specific materials that support technician development.
- Design content that is practical, easy to apply, and supports long-term retention.
Competency Frameworks & Compliance
- Develop and maintain competency frameworks that align with industry legislation, including the Building Safety Act as well as industry standards.
- Regularly review frameworks to reflect evolving regulatory and operational requirements.
Technical Updates & Best Practice
- Stay informed on technical developments and emerging trends to keep training current.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Assess training effectiveness using feedback and performance data.
- Use insights to refine programmes and maintain up-to-date training materials.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with teams to align training with business goals.
- Submit training records and produce regular reports to support visibility and compliance.
Learner Support & Accreditation
- Manage NVQ progress and support technicians in achieving accreditations like CSCS and EN standards.
- Champion high standards and ensure health and safety compliance throughout training.

- Strong technical knowledge of relevant products, systems, and industry standards.
- Ability to develop and implement competency frameworks aligned with regulatory requirements.

- Analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Experience supporting technicians in achieving industry accreditations (e.g., CSCS, EN standards).
