Overview
Native English Teacher
Aberdeen St. Peter\’s Catholic Primary School • Primary School • Part Time • Aberdeen, Hong Kong Island
Responsibilities
- Teach English as a second language to Hong Kong students in primary school (for students aged between 6 and 12)
- Engage students to ensure a lively classroom atmosphere
- Lead and organise English activities outside the classroom
- Develop lesson plans and teaching materials
- Collaborate with local teachers and the English Panel of the schools on curriculum and resource development
Qualifications
- A native speaker of English or highly proficient English speaker
- A holder of university degree (in any subject)
- In possession of teaching-related qualifications such as TEFL/TESOL Certificate, CELTA and PGCE/PGDE in English
- Prior experience in teaching the English subject in primary school(s)
- The ability to execute lessons with meaning, in a fun, and engaging manner
