Native English Teacher

Aberdeen St. Peter\’s Catholic Primary School • Primary School • Part Time • Aberdeen, Hong Kong Island

Responsibilities

  • Teach English as a second language to Hong Kong students in primary school (for students aged between 6 and 12)
  • Engage students to ensure a lively classroom atmosphere
  • Lead and organise English activities outside the classroom
  • Develop lesson plans and teaching materials
  • Collaborate with local teachers and the English Panel of the schools on curriculum and resource development

Qualifications

  • A native speaker of English or highly proficient English speaker
  • A holder of university degree (in any subject)
  • In possession of teaching-related qualifications such as TEFL/TESOL Certificate, CELTA and PGCE/PGDE in English
  • Prior experience in teaching the English subject in primary school(s)
  • The ability to execute lessons with meaning, in a fun, and engaging manner
