The Role and the Department
Durham Chemistry is one of the top UK chemistry departments, renowned for excellence in teaching, research, and employability. Our research covers organic, inorganic, physical, and theoretical chemistry. The Molecular Sciences for Medicine (MoSMed) Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) is a joint venture between Newcastle and Durham Universities, aiming to train the next generation of scientists and produce cutting-edge research at the interface of chemistry and medicine.
