Contract: Four-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.

Offer Details Ref.: 533262

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. A monthly cash allowance and housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct communication with patients is required.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to clinical service and teaching.
  • Help advance the strengths of the Department's teaching in the broad spectrum of medical and health sciences education.
  • Possess capacity and potential in conducting research in their respective field(s) (advantage).

Qualifications:

  • Medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong.
  • Higher professional qualification of Specialty Fellowship of the relevant Hong Kong colleges under the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine or equivalent.
  • Evidence of research capacity and potential in their field(s).
