Euraxess is seeking up to 2 full-time Research Associates to work on a project predicting wildfire risk over a 2.5-year grant period. The successful candidates will contribute to the development of a fundamental model to understand fire spread, working within a multidisciplinary research team at King’s Heat and Fire Lab.
The role requires a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related fields and knowledge in fire dynamics. Responsibilities include fire dynamic modelling, supporting the development of numerical models, and conducting experimental validations.
