What you would be doing:
- Promoting College’s research capabilities/technologies/IP portfolio.
- Assessment of research discoveries, analysis and evaluation, and advancement of those technologies through collaboration with industry, access to translational funds, and commercialisation income.
- Building excellent working relationships with academics and strong relationships with industry experts and stakeholders to help nurture and shape commercial opportunities.
- Managing key stakeholder relationships and promoting licensing of College IP to industry players.
- Supporting scoping and shaping of Imperial spinout opportunities.
You:
- Are a highly motivated individual with a passion for research and technology.
- Would like to further develop your career in business development, relationship management and technology transfer.
- Have experience in commercial deal making or licensing in a life sciences academic or business environment (pharma, biotech, medical devices etc), or in technology venture capital.
- Have a strategic and analytical mindset, strong delivery focus, excellent communication skills coupled with an understanding of the academic environment, product innovation and technology commercialisation processes.

This career opportunity will maximise to the full your experience and interest in roles such as Business Development Manager, Business Development Executive, Relationship Manager, Licensing Executive and Technology Transfer Manager within the pharmaceutical, chemicals, technology, higher education, government sectors or similar.
