The Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management Research Cluster (ESBM) at the Management Research Centre recognises the role that small and medium‑sized enterprises, especially those family controlled, play as engines of wealth creation, employment, and innovation. As part of its ongoing commitment to high‑quality research, the Cluster is inviting expressions of interest from motivated and capable researchers who wish to develop a Marie Skłodowska‑Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA‑PF) proposal in collaboration with our team.
Research Focus
The Cluster is particularly interested in candidates whose research ambitions align with contemporary and emerging issues in family business studies. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
- digital transformation
- artificial intelligence and its organisational implications
- sustainability transitions
- innovation practices
- the evolving dynamics of leadership within family‑owned enterprises
Candidates with interdisciplinary perspectives or novel methodological approaches are especially encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Engage diligently with the proposed research project and contribute to its development and execution.
- Collaborate with the ESBM research team and other researchers within the Management Research Centre.
- Depending on expertise and interest, contribute to teaching within the wider Management subject area.
