We are seeking an intern to support our Global Sustainability, Biodiversity & Water research team in London or New York. The intern will support research across the different topics the practice covers, including biodiversity, water, agriculture, plastics pollution/circular economy, and environmental litigation. The intern will also support Eurasia Group’s business development within the team.
This internship will provide opportunities to learn about researching and supporting clients in topics such as water stress, food security, ecosystems loss, sustainability policymaking, and sustainable finance. The intern will also have opportunities to learn about other fields and regions of political risk analysis and to network with Eurasia Group analysts. The intern will be working in Eurasia Group’s dynamic, diverse, and sociable London/New York office.
Responsibilities
- Support Eurasia Group’s analysts with ongoing and tailored client research work
- Track global and client-specific news, circulate news clips, and prepare briefings on client priorities
- Research potential new clients and track developments with existing clients
- Take notes during video calls and in-person client meetings
- Support conference call planning and logistics
Qualifications
- Applicants must be students at an academic institution, in a related field (e.g. international relations, politics, public policy, economics) and be enrolled in a fall program.
- Strong writing skills, organisational skills, and attention to detail
- Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a team-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with consulting projects is desirable, but not essential
- Full business proficiency in the English language
Timing: 01 June 2026 - 31 July 2026
Location: New York / London
Compensation: $17 per hour / £12.80 per hour
