Eurasia Group is seeking a dynamic Program Associate to play a central role in the external engagement strategy and successful delivery of the firm’s events portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess excellent editorial instincts, familiarity with the global policymaker landscape, and the ability to exercise sound judgment in navigating the complex institutions that move the most critical business and policy conversations. Based in London, this individual will play an integral role in developing world-class in-person and virtual event programs—ranging from global flagship summits to policymaker roundtables and executive dinners—with attendee profiles ranging from C-suite business leaders, policymakers, and leading experts, academics, and influencers.
Working closely with the teams in support of firm‑wide leadership, events marketing, and operations, as well as key analysts, this role ensures that all events are content‑rich, commercially impactful, and aligned with broader engagement goals of Eurasia Group and GZERO Media brands.
Responsibilities- Research trends, policy shifts, and the key thought leaders shaping them to craft compelling event agendas, identifying emerging and relevant topics at the intersection of business, geopolitics, technology, and policy.
- In support of colleagues, cultivate relationships with subject‑matter experts, think tanks, NGOs, and private sector leaders to inform program development.
- Collaborate with the stakeholder engagement manager and practice teams to identify and secure high‑profile speakers, prioritising diversity of gender, race, cultural background, and perspective, as well as seniority and reputation (e.g., C‑suite executives, ministers).
- Maintain and update tracking documents, manage follow up plans, and support the full cycle of the speaker engagement process from conception to event closeout.
- Travel globally as required (~25%) to support on‑site event execution and stakeholder engagement.
- 2-3 years of experience focused on geopolitics, macroeconomics, or related topics. Ideally with significant exposure to the event planning lifecycle.
- Sound judgment; and the demonstrated ability to work closely with senior executives, policymakers, and subject matter experts.
- Proven track record of collaborating across functions—including marketing, sales/commercial, and research/analysis—to maximise engagement and commercial impact.
- Exceptional communications skills in English – including experience managing email correspondence with a variety of stakeholders (executives, government officials, high‑visibility experts), formal invitation drafting, and phone and video call etiquette.
- Experience arranging panel discussions, lectures, ‘fireside’ interventions, or similar before a range of audience types.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
