Eurasia Group is seeking an Associate Director of Events Marketing and Audience Strategy to lead the strategic development and execution of marketing and audience engagement across the firm’s global events portfolio. This individual will oversee the full marketing lifecycle of Eurasia Group convenings, from flagship summits to private roundtables, ensuring a cohesive and data-driven approach to audience growth, brand positioning, and client engagement.
Working closely with senior leadership, commercial teams, Communications, and GZERO Media, this role will define and operationalize strategies that elevate the firm’s convening platform, expand its reach among priority stakeholders, and deliver measurable value to clients. A core component of this role is working directly with clients and partners to translate their strategic objectives into tailored marketing and audience strategies. The Associate Director will serve as a senior-facing advisor, capable of engaging with demanding stakeholders, pressure-testing assumptions, and delivering clear, actionable recommendations grounded in data and experience.
- Marketing Strategy and Leadership
- Define and lead the overarching marketing strategy for Eurasia Group's global events portfolio, ensuring alignment with firm-wide commercial and engagement priorities.
- Oversee and mentor Events Managers and Associates across marketing, audience outreach, engagement, and analytics functions.
- Develop integrated campaign strategies across digital, email, partnerships, and media channels to maximize reach and impact.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, including commercial, research, and GZERO Media, to ensure consistent messaging and strategic alignment.
- Client Strategy and Advisory
- Serve as the primary marketing and audience strategy lead for key clients and partners, translating their objectives into clear and tailored event strategies.
- Lead client conversations to define success metrics, target audiences, and positioning for each engagement.

- Provide strategic oversight of event branding and creative direction, ensuring consistency across onsite, digital, and promotional assets.
- Partner with design teams to deliver high-quality event materials, including slides, printed collateral, and digital assets.
- Support the development of marketing materials such as pitch decks and sponsor-facing content.
- Press and Media Strategy
- Work with the Communications team to define and execute media strategies for Eurasia Group's events, including the identification and management of media partners.

- Data, Analytics and Performance Optimization
- Oversee the collection and analysis of event performance data, including registration trends, attendance, and audience engagement.

Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of experience in event marketing, audience development, client advisory, or strategic communications, ideally within a global, policy, or advisory environment.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with senior clients, with the ability to translate business objectives into marketing and audience strategies.
- Proven ability to present to and influence demanding stakeholders, including C-suite executives, policymakers, and institutional partners.
- Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with experience using data to inform decision-making and communicate performance clearly.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting and delivering executive-level presentations and updates.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage teams across marketing, communications, and analytics.
- Experience managing complex, high-profile events or convenings.
- Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred.
