We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director to help drive expansion of our corporate client base. This Director will lead a commercially-focused team dedicated to building and nurturing client relationships. Success in this role will be measured by achieving sales targets and fostering a collaborative team culture, both within the team and with other parts of the firm. The Director will report directly to Justin Shepherd, Managing Director of Corporate Advisory and Consulting, and will be based in London, UK. The position requires relatively frequent travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a commercially-oriented team to grow Eurasia Group\’s Corporate Advisory & Consulting work
- Leverage both personal and Eurasia Group networks to identify and cultivate relationships with prospective corporate clients
- Engage with clients to determine how geopolitics affects their business, and align their business needs with Eurasia Group’s service offerings
- Collaborate with sector teams to develop tailored solutions that address client needs, including preparing and refining pitches and closing deals
- Develop and implement commercial strategies and sales targets across various sectors and regions
- Represent Eurasia Group at industry events, articulating the firm’s macroeconomic insights in public forums
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in selling advisory/consulting services to corporate clients
- Experience managing and leading a team, with a focus on junior team members
- Familiarity with various corporate industries and an understanding of the impact of geopolitics on business strategy and operations
- Background in strategy, management, geopolitical consulting, or corporate affairs
- Bachelor’s degree required, with a master’s or MBA preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
