The role will involve building, deploying and monitoring Eupnea’s IT systems and services, developing and evolving the company’s cloud platform, owning its maintenance and being the subject matter expert for providing system administration and support. You will need to have particular experience in designing, deploying and managing AWS environments. As one of the first employees of the company it will be important to show a high level of initiative and responsibility in order to succeed. The role will be the first appointment in our IT business function and therefore you will need to be able to operate at all levels, have a deep understanding of how cloud technologies can support different areas of an organisation and show a strong ability to identify and communicate effectively business advantages, including cost efficiencies, from different IT applications and solutions in meetings, through presentations and by building excellent documentation.

Primary Role Responsibilities

  • Lead design and delivery of IT solutions that provide business advantage to Eupnea optimising time, cost, and outcome.
  • Own development, implementation and maintenance at the highest standard of Eupnea’s cloud platform, including supporting technologies.
  • Act as the functional and technical expert for Eupnea’s IT systems and services.
  • Provide system administration and support for individuals and teams across all parts of the business.
  • Build design, implementation plan and documentation for different technologies with input of others when required, including senior management and consultants, with the aim technology to play a key and integral part in how Eupnea develops and delivers excellent consulting services and experience to our clients.
  • Possess good understanding of vendor cloud technologies ranging from their architectural principles to end-user functionality and benefits.
  • Maintain first-class knowledge of industry IT standards, including about IT security and governance and are able to demonstrate and help others adopt best practice.
  • Have a keen eye for identifying existing, new or emerging technologies and methodologies where they can represent an opportunity or advantage to the business.
