euNetworks is seeking an experienced, commercially minded Senior Legal Counsel to join its Legal team in London. This is a senior role within an agile and collaborative legal function, supporting euNetworks’ business across the UK and Europe. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading negotiations on complex customer and supplier agreements, supporting strategic network infrastructure projects, and partnering closely with stakeholders across the organisation.

You are a pragmatic, solutions-focused lawyer with significant experience negotiating sophisticated telecommunications, technology and infrastructure agreements with multinational customers, global cloud and technology providers, international carriers and strategic suppliers. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys operating in a fast-paced, commercially driven and highly collaborative environment.

What will you be doing?

Reporting to a senior member of the Legal team, you will provide strategic and day-to-day legal support across euNetworks’ business and operations. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting and negotiating complex customer agreements relating to telecommunications, network infrastructure and connectivity services with sophisticated multinational customers, hyperscalers, international carriers and other strategic accounts.
  • Supporting complex network infrastructure deployment projects, including real estate, wayleave, construction, engineering and deployment arrangements.
  • Negotiating supplier agreements relating to network services, hardware, software and strategic procurement.
  • Advising internal stakeholders on legal risk, contractual strategy and dispute management.
  • Managing and coordinating external counsel across multiple jurisdictions where required.
  • Supporting corporate transactions, strategic initiatives and other business projects.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of legal processes, contract standards and risk management frameworks.
  • Supporting telecommunications regulatory and compliance matters across the UK and Europe.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior members of the Legal team and contributing to effective project management across legal matters.

What do we want from you?

  • Qualified as a lawyer in England & Wales with approximately 6 – 8 years’ post-qualification experience, including experience gained at a leading law firm.
  • Excellent academic credentials and strong technical grounding in commercial contract law.
  • Substantial experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements with sophisticated multinational customers and strategic suppliers.
  • Experience supporting infrastructure deployment, construction and network build projects.
  • An understanding of telecommunications, digital infrastructure, technology or network services businesses.
  • Sound commercial judgement with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives in a pragmatic and solutions-oriented manner.
  • Confidence operating independently, managing complex matters and leading negotiations on business-critical transactions.
  • Effective stakeholder management, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
