Our EMEA Claims team is seeking a motivated, analytical and proactive Analyst to join either our London or Dublin offices. This role involves supporting Euclid’s claim team in providing fast, efficient and industry-leading claims handling. The role involves onboarding, assessing and handling claims arising in relation to some of the largest M&A transactions in Europe and beyond. There will be daily exposure to lawyers, accountants and private equity firms across the world.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting the team in assessing, reviewing, and managing claims
  • Preparing first drafts of correspondence including acknowledgment letters and preliminary coverage letters using precedents
  • Reviewing legal documents and due diligence reports to assist in conducting an initial coverage review of claims
  • Attending calls with Insured and advisors
  • Analysing claims data and producing reports
  • Liaising with advisors (law firms, accountancy firms) and insurer partners to ensure world class efficient claims handling
  • Assisting with file and data management
  • Assisting in keeping track of claims deadlines
  • Preparing reports, dashboards, and data summaries to enhance claims efficiency
  • Assisting in the design and implementation of automation and AI-driven initiatives to streamline workflows and improve data integrity
  • Collaborating with our Claims teams in New York and other global offices to ensure consistent practices and data

Experience and Skills

Must-haves:

  • Graduate, (or soon to be) with a master’s or bachelor’s degree
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and adept at navigating CRM and other IT systems
  • A confident communicator and team-player who enjoys collaborating across teams and geographies
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, ambitious and proactive, with a strong ability to interpret data
  • Organised and able to manage multiple priorities with strong time management skills

Advantageous:

  • A legal background (for example law degree or work/internships as a paralegal)

Additional Information

WORK: Full-time with a flexible mix of working from both the office and home (cadence to be agreed upon completion of in-office training). The role reports to our General Counsel and Managing Director, EMEA.
