More than 1 billion people globally live with obesity, a significant leading indicator of many preventable chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. Eucalyptus is the company behind Juniper, one of the world's largest weight management programs combining GLP-1 medication with a tailored nutrition and exercise programme, supported by our multidisciplinary care team of prescribers, health coaches, dietitians, nurses and pharmacists. Our published clinical research demonstrates that our combined approach to weight management and lifestyle change increases the likelihood of our patients losing significant weight during their treatment with Juniper by four times. Since launching, weâve grown fast to support millions of patients. In the last 12 months:
- We grew the size of our patient base by 10x in the UK.
- Received selective NICE endorsement for our holistic approach to obesity management.
- Grew our team from 50 to 200.
Globally, we grew revenue by >120% YoY, while reducing cash burned by 90% YoY, with over $100M USD raised from global investors such as BOND, NewView, Blackbird and Airtree - early backers of companies like Canva, Stripe, Uber and Airbnb. Whatâs next? In 2025, we are charting the path to support hundreds of thousands of patients while launching into new conditions, demographics, and geographies as we move towards our vision of creating a preventive healthcare ecosystem. Weâre building the worldâs largest international digital healthcare company. This will be highly challenging, very rewarding and the adventure of a lifetime, working with the best operators you will ever encounter. If that gets you excited, letâs talk!
As Community Manager, youâll own Juniperâs private community â bringing our community strategy to life and leading projects that build connection, engagement, and longâterm value. Youâre a doer who thrives in a highâownership environment â from building authentic relationships to shaping the systems, content, and initiatives that keep the community supportive and energised. Working with our Nutrition Coaches and Moderators, youâll launch impactful initiatives, solve challenges, and continually refine how the community runs. This is a handsâon role for someone who blends creativity with structure â proactive, dataâminded, and driven by impact. Youâre passionate about improving health and building a community that inspires progress and belonging.
What Youâll Be Doing
- Own and evolve the community experience: Take full ownership of Juniperâs private community â from content and engagement to the systems that keep it running smoothly.
- Turn strategy into action: Bring the community vision to life through initiatives, content, and experiences that deepen connection, build trust, and drive retention.
- Lead the content rhythm: Plan and deliver a dynamic mix of posts, prompts, and conversations that tap into what members are talking about â blending education, motivation, and inspiration to keep the community alive and engaging.
- Design and deliver initiatives: Drive participation, foster accountability, and celebrate success at scale â whether thatâs a weekâlong challenge, an IRL meetâup series, or a program designed to drive longâterm engagement and retention.
- Measure, learn, and act: Track engagement, sentiment, and community health metrics to understand whatâs working â and spot opportunities to improve. Identify emerging themes, engagement gaps, or process challenges early, and take proactive steps to keep the community evolving and thriving.
- Build scalable systems: Design and refine efficient workflows for content, moderation, and reporting that help the team work smarter as the community grows.
- Treat community like a product: Collect feedback, test ideas, and iterate on systems and content to keep improving how we show up.
Who You Are
- Experienced: Youâve spent 3â4+ years managing online communities, ideally in the health, wellness, or lifestyle space. You know how to spark genuine connection at scale (bonus points if youâve led teams to do it, too).
- A strategic doer: You can zoom out to design systems and strategy, then zoom in to execute â running experiments and delivering measurable results.
- Proactive and selfâled: You anticipate challenges, spot opportunities, and move ideas into action without waiting for direction.
- Contentâsavvy and dataâminded: You know how to create content that connects, manage a strong editorial rhythm, and use data to iterate and elevate your approach.
- A natural communicator: You write and speak with warmth and clarity, and know how to adapt your tone and style across different channels.
- Structured and systemsâminded: You bring clarity, consistency, and efficiency to how content, moderation, and community operations run.
- Curious and fastâmoving: You love to test, learn, and scale what works â keeping things fresh, relevant, and responsive to what members need.
- Empathetic and missionâdriven: You care deeply about improving peopleâs health, ending stigma around medicated weight loss, and creating spaces where members feel seen, supported, and proud of their progress.
- Thrive in fastâpaced environments: You excel in highâownership settings where collaboration, accountability, and momentum go hand in hand.
