About The Role (What You’ll Be Doing)
The IT Support Analyst will own IT support for Eucalyptus in the EMEA region. You will be the go-to person for technical issues, managing our IT systems and corporate applications, running user onboarding and offboarding, managing vendors and running IT projects. This role sits under our Trust Team (IT, Infrastructure and Cybersecurity) and reports to our Head of Security and Infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the face of IT for employees in the EMEA region. Provide white glove IT support for our employees in the UK, Germany and South Africa.
- Provide seamless onboarding and offboarding for joiners/leavers. Run IT inductions, setup devices and manage access so that employees have a great day 1 IT experience. Coordinate deprovisioning and timely asset retrieval for employee departures.
- Manage secure system configurations. Configure end user devices, systems and applications to ensure a secure baseline.
- Maintain our IT asset inventory. Manage hardware inventory, secure disposal compliance and forecasting of IT asset requirements based on headcount estimations.
- Support our AV & video conferencing systems. Support our meeting room video conferencing and provide AV support for internal events.
- Automate manual IT processes. Automate manual tasks using AI and automation tools to improve IT quality of service.
- Own and run IT projects. Run the end-to-end delivery of IT projects to uplift the quality and reliability of our IT tooling and processes in the EMEA region.
- Establish and actively maintain strong relationships across the business, including relationships with teammates in the APAC region.
About you (Who Are We Looking For)
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience working in an IT support or systems administrator role. Experience working in a startup/scaleup environment would be highly regarded.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills with a focus on delivering a high quality employee experience.
- Experience managing cloud-native collaboration and access management tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, Notion, Zoom and Slack.
- Experience troubleshooting desktop hardware (Mac and Windows), software and audio-visual systems.
- Experience managing configuration and security of end user devices using Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Endpoint Protection tools such as Kandji, Intune and Crowdstrike.
- A passion for automating processes to streamline IT processes and improve quality of service. You enjoy using low-code/no-code automation tools (e.g. Zapier), using APIs and webhooks and integrating SaaS tools.
- Experience working in a distributed team across time zones.
