About The Role (What You’ll Be Doing)
As an HR Advisor, you’ll be a key support to the Senior People Partner and the Head of Talent Operations, helping to ensure smooth delivery of People and Talent initiatives across EMEA. You’ll be based in London and work closely with operational and logistics teams, supporting employee relations, processes, and programs that enable a high‑performing, engaged workforce.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Employee Relations and Operational Support- Act as a first point of contact for employee relations inquiries, providing timely, context‑aware support to managers and employees.
- Support the creation and distribution of HR communications, including employment letters, contracts, and other key documentation.
- Assist with complex or sensitive employee matters, escalating to senior colleagues as needed.
- Maintain high standards for compliance, consistency, and fairness across all employee interactions.
- Conduct new starter check‑ins to ensure smooth onboarding and engagement.
- Carry out exit interviews and support reporting on trends and insights.
- Support the execution of performance review cycles, training initiatives, and other key HR programs across EMEA.
- Help streamline and coordinate operational processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Use HR systems and data to track progress, produce reports, and inform decision‑making.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues to identify opportunities for process improvements and support scalable ways of working.
- Support engagement survey initiatives, including follow‑up on incomplete responses and reporting results.
- Funnel team requests to the appropriate stakeholders—for example, reframing requests such as system access or holiday booking issues so they are clear and actionable for the People Ops team.
- Work closely with the Senior People Partner, Head of Talent Operations, and wider People and Talent team to ensure smooth delivery of initiatives.
- Partner with operational leaders across logistics, finance, and other teams to support workforce planning, onboarding, and day‑to‑day HR needs.
- Contribute to creating a consistent and positive employee experience across multiple markets.
- Support and enable senior leaders to focus on strategic priorities by handling operational HR tasks with care and accuracy.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the global People team to share knowledge, coordinate initiatives, and ensure alignment in ways of working.
About You (Who You Are)
- 2–3 years of experience in an HR generalist, advisory, or operational role within a high‑performance environment (e.g., tech, high‑growth startup, or consulting).
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR compliance (bonus points for familiarity with EMEA employment frameworks, e.g., Germany or South Africa).
- Experience supporting managers and employees with employee relations, performance, and HR processes.
- Proficient with Hibob and comfortable tracking metrics, producing reports, and providing insights.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and supportive—able to work across multiple stakeholders and teams.
- Proactive and solution‑oriented, with a bias for action and follow‑through.
- Detail‑focused and organised, ensuring accuracy in processes and communications.
- Empathetic and professional, maintaining confidentiality and sound judgement in sensitive situations.
