What you will do:
- Designing, maintaining and improving supplier related quality requirements, specifications and concepts.
- Evaluating and approving suppliers, and negotiating and agreeing on product or service requirements and specifications, or subsequent quality assurance processes for implementation.
- Planning and executing technical supplier audits including follow-up of audit measures.
- Driving supplier's continuous improvement and collaborating in supplier development programs.
- Implementing complaints management to detect non-conformances at an early stage.
- Deputise for Quality Director, covering QMS and Customer Support.
A job at this level:
- Contributes to the development of agreed infrastructure and management systems, by managing related resources (e.g., in commissioning, set up, calibrating complex machines, and/or testing and setting up technical infrastructure, e.g., applications, IT systems).
- Implements overarching guidelines, and organises work in the team effectively with respect to the work packages agreed.
- Applies all technologies or standards, proposes investments, and adapts methods/align processes or procedures as appropriate.
- Evaluates work results and discusses with responsible management or project lead further proceedings.
- Manages stakeholder contacts within own part of the value chain, and with external market partners.
