We are hiring for two fixed-term contract positions with a duration of 30 months. These roles will be initially focusing on completing a variety of operational tasks around Transactional TC Grant products, these include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the identification, reconciliation and setting up in the bank Legal Compliance Monitoring system (IAM) of all existing Transactional TC Grants to prepare for go live of the new processes.
  • Responsible for the identification and set up of all new Transactional TC Grants in IAM.
  • Reviewing draft legal agreements and providing comments back to the legal and banking teams.
  • Leading the waivers, amendments and consents processes for your allocated portfolio of projects.
  • Managing the compliance checks and approvals for disbursements for your allocated portfolio of projects.
  • Leading the Effectiveness process for Transactional TC Grants.
  • Other operational/administrative tasks as required.

Purpose of Job: The Assistant Analyst is responsible for completing a variety of operational tasks across equivalent middle and back-office functions that directly interface with Banking origination, portfolio teams and Treasury front office. Day-to-day, the team(s) are principally responsible for processing disbursements (and other related transactional activity) across a range of products, ensuring that EBRD accurately and timely processes, settles and manages Banking/Treasury products in the global markets.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Execute operational processes across a range of activities in equivalent middle and back office support functions that facilitate the adequate documenting, booking, funding and monitoring/reconciliation of the Bank’s products.
  • Deliver outstanding operational performance demonstrated by adherence to established operational metrics – timeliness, quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Responds to operational queries in a prompt and timely manner.
  • Communicate with relevant departments that may have significant implications for projects to ensure that the decision-makers are aware of the risks involved.
  • Support the wider team on a variety of tasks associated with the portfolio of projects relating to transactions, reporting and data management.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • University educated, or equivalent work experience.
  • General banking, legal and credit skills as well as a basic understanding of treasury and banking products transacted by EBRD.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong team player, attention to detail, strong analytical skills with the ability to organise, multi-task and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English required.
  • Must have positive, collaborative and solution orientated attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
