The Associate, Integrity Screening & Research, Advisory & Assurance is to be considered a ‘subject matter expert’ (SME) in their field, with deep understanding of market practice, related policies/rules and typical governance structures and practices across 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of defence teams. The individual will work with teams across 1-3 lines of defence to mould future operational procedures that ensure adherence to related screening frameworks and policies (including Sanctions, PEPs and adverse media screening), where necessary, influencing opinion and outcomes to deliver an appropriate ‘risk based’ approach that adheres to the EBRD’s risk appetite.
The team directly interfaces with Banking origination and Portfolio (front office) teams throughout key stages of the pre and post signing lifecycle. The team is expected to deliver accurate and timely screening of parties across a pipeline/portfolio of names using a combination of structured and unstructured data sources.
