The Opportunity

We are looking for a proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team, supporting the management of our global supplier base.

In this role you will act as a first point of escalation for the Supply Chain team, negotiate improved terms and savings with suppliers, and ensure our systems reflect accurate, up to date pricing information.

Previous experience within a supply chain or similar role is essential, and strong communication and negotiation skills are highly desirable to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams alike.

This is a great opportunity for somebody looking to build on their experience and take the next step in their supply chain career.

It would be advantageous for the successful candidate to have German or Mandarin language skills, however this is not essential.

Responsibilities of a Supply Chain Coordinator include

  • Managing relationships and building strong partnerships with our global supplier base.
  • Acting as a first escalation point for the Supply Chain team and providing support to resolve issues effectively.
  • Negotiating improved terms with suppliers, including rebates, commercial terms, payment terms, discounts and warranties driving better outcomes.
  • Negotiating savings on high value purchase orders on behalf of our sales team to maximise profitability.
  • Ensuring latest supplier price files are accurately updated on our internal systems.
  • Proactively identifying issues and working individually and within the team to resolve and mitigate them.

Requirements of a Supply Chain Coordinator include

  • Experience working in a supply chain or similar role.
  • A confident communicator by email and telephone, able to liaise with different departments within the business and externally.
  • Flexible in your approach to work and able to adapt to ever changing business conditions.
  • Strong computer skills, with the ability to use Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
  • Able to work individually or alongside a team to solve problems.
  • A CIPS qualification, or currently working towards one, is desirable.
  • German or Mandarin language skills are desirable but not essential.
  • Previous purchasing experience within the Asia market is also desirable.
