The opportunity:
Our Order Fulfilment Team plays a critical role in delivering an outstanding customer experience. As an Order Fulfilment Coordinator, you will take ownership of customer orders from initial creation through to final delivery. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong organisation, proactive thinking and a mindset focused on solutions. You will anticipate challenges before they arise, coordinate across multiple teams and ensure every order progresses smoothly. Clear communication and attention to detail are essential, as you will be managing supplier relationships and overseeing every stage of the fulfilment process.Please note that we are recruiting for four fixed-term contract positions: two 6-month contracts and two 12-month contracts.
Responsibilities of an Order Fulfilment Coordinator include:
- Review customer purchase orders and proof of payment, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal systems
- Source and order parts from suppliers via purchase orders, credit card or proforma requests
- Coordinate closely with internal departments to ensure all documentation and processes are completed correctly for shipping
- Monitor supplier performance, proactively chasing updates to prevent delays
- Keep customers updated on order status and resolve queries promptly
Requirements of an Order Fulfilment Coordinator:
- Strong organisational and IT skills (email, spreadsheets, word processing)
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to solve problems and take ownership
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic working environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in purchasing is desirable, however this is not essential as full training is provided.
- Additional European language skills are advantageous, but not essential
