Etwall and Beech Vets are looking for that extra special person to join our vet team. We are a thriving first opinion small animal practice with a main and a branch surgery in two pretty South Derbyshire villages, Etwall and Willington. We are affiliated with a specialist cardiology clinic also in Etwall village, Sarah Smith Cardiology. We are a proudly independent team of 6 vets, 8 RVN and 6 receptionists. We are a small team of like-minded people who put patient care at the heart of everything we do. We pride ourselves on being supportive, inclusive and collaborative. Our culture is no blame, professional and respectful and we are committed to promoting and protecting the physical and mental health of the whole team.

We are looking for a fun, enthusiastic, passionate, driven first-opinion vet to join our team. Someone who:

  • Strives to provide a high standard of care
  • Wants to be part of a small, close-knit team
  • Is keen to improve and share their knowledge with the rest of the veterinary team
  • Is competent and confident in all aspects of first opinion veterinary practice
  • Is happy to work alongside and support our excellent nursing team
  • Wants to explore their own interests with support to pursue further qualifications
  • Has a good sense of humour and will gel easily with the rest of the team

What we can offer you:

  • Part-time or full-time position available - over 3, 4 or 5 day weeks as desired
  • 25 days (FTE) holidays plus bank holidays
  • Competitive salary £35,000 - £50,000+ depending on experience
  • No OOH, working 1 in 5 Saturdays
