A new vacancy for a Site Support & Maintenance Technician (Building Materials) with a leading UK provider of specialist materials testing services to manufacturers and installers in the building industry. Based at the company's test facility in Hertfordshire, the Site Maintenance & Support Technician will be responsible for supporting the company's team of Laboratory Technicians to ensure the smooth running of their tests on-site; assisting in the setting up, installation and dismantling of test equipment and facilities; and helping in the maintenance & upkeep of the site and general site services activities as required.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in areas such as Site Maintenance & Support, Yard Management, Goods-In/Goods-Out or Stores Management/Warehousing.
- Professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
- Impartiality, calm under pressure.
- Good communicator.
- Able to follow instructions when given, can readily work unsupervised, used to Handbook work.
- Regular contact, liaison with the Test Support Supervisor (your line manager).
- Liaise with on and offsite personnel as required.
