A new vacancy for a QMS Technical Auditor with a leading provider of test, assessment & approval services for the Construction industry. Home-based in Northern Ireland, the QMS Technical Auditor will conduct regular site assessments of Construction Product Manufacturing sites primarily in Northern Ireland, with a particular focus on Management Systems against either of the following standards: ISO 9001 and/or 14001. Full induction training will be provided in the company's auditing procedures, with additional training available as required (including 6-12 month development plan and mentoring).

About You: The company is looking for a QMS Technical Auditor excited about excellence and playing a critical part in the business' focus on serving its customers better. You must be comfortable working in a structured environment, with the ability to adapt when necessary. You should be able to work independently or as part of a team, and be confident to suggest improvements to work more efficiently when required.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Complete concise technical reports.
  • Assess and review the effectiveness of:
  • Quality Management Systems against ISO 9001 and 14001 standards
  • Manufacture and production of approved products
  • Existing site installations or installations in progress to assess durability
  • Factory Production Control or EN 1090 structural steel production (training can be provided)

Desired Skills and Technical Expertise:

  • Professionalism, Impartiality, Integrity.
  • Results orientated.
  • Auditing and Installation techniques with an IRCA recognised ISO qualification (to 9001 and/or 14001 standards)
  • Knowledge of Construction Product Manufacturing processes and/or Construction industry.
