Electronics Design Engineer - Power Supply

Senior Electronics Engineer – Custom power supply design and development.

Our client’s business unit is a leading manufacturer and developer of custom power supply solutions which encompass a wide range of power supply applications covering AC/DC, DC/DC, and TRs in addition to a range of other related products.

The role is responsible for project scoping, applications specification, design, testing, and design for manufacture. This position will play a pivotal role in the organization going forward and will report to and deputize for the Technical Director.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about engineering, dedicated to their own learning and development, and will possess both technical engineering skills and the ability to work collaboratively with customers and colleagues. The candidate should also have the potential to mentor and develop some of the more junior engineers.

The specialisms sought include power supply design, PCB design, knowledge of analogue electronics, and experience with design and simulation tools such as SPICE and CAD.

The company has a clear development plan for the person coming into this role, which will be explained at the interview.
