This Company, a dynamic and forward thinking organization specializing in power electronics, is seeking a passionate and technically adept individual to join their team as a Service and Calibration Engineer owing to strong business growth from the EV sector in particular. Role Summary: As a Service and Calibration Engineer at This Company, you will have the exciting opportunity to work within our service and calibration team. Your primary responsibilities will involve and calibrating AC and DC Power Sources and Loads, Battery Test Equipment, and other related electronic equipment to ensure optimal performance. Experience from any of the following sectors would be useful although not essential UPS (Uninterruptible power supply) , Adjustable Speed Drives, Inverter based Welding Systems,Renewable Energy Systems, EV chargers or indeed any other major application of power electronics. Key Duties: Repairing Electronic Power Equipment to component level Calibrating Electronic Power Equipment Assisting in the administration of the service and calibration department Conducting customer visits to carry out calibrations approximately 1-2 weeks per month Providing technical support and assisting customers with any technical issues Qualifications and Experience: To be successful in this role, you should possess a HND or higher qualification in Electronics and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Power service role. You should have a proven track record of fault finding electronic circuits to component level. Skills and Qualities Required: Excellent communication analytical, and IT skills Strong attention to detail and a logical to problem solving Ability to work well within a team and demonstrate organizational skills Customer care skills and the ability to show initiative A clean driving licence is essential for this roleWorking Hours: The working hours for this position are from 8:00-17: Monday to Thursday and 8:00-14:00 on Friday, with a half-hour break.
