A new vacancy for a Technical Auditor (BUILDING PRODUCTS) with leading provider of test, assessment & approval services for the Construction industry. Home-based in Northern Ireland, the Technical Auditor (BUILDING PRODUCTS) will conduct regular site assessments of Construction Product Manufacturing sites primarily in Ireland, with a particular focus on Management Systems against ISO 9001 standards. Full induction training will be provided in the company\'s auditing procedures, with additional training available as required (including 6-12mth development plan and mentoring).
About You:
The company is looking for a Technical Auditor (BUILDING PRODUCTS) excited about excellence and playing a critical part in the business\' focus on serving its customers better. You must be comfortable working in a structured environment, with the ability to adapt when necessary. You should be able to work independently or as part of a team, and be confident to suggest improvements to work more efficiently when required.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Complete concise technical reports.
* Assess and review the effectiveness of:
- Quality Management Systems against ISO 9001 standards
- Manufacture and production of approved products
- Existing site installations or installations in progress to assess durability
- Factory Production Control or EN 1090 structural steel production (training can be provided)
* Experience in third-party auditing (not essential)
