Sales Manager (Construction Materials – Manufacturers & Installers – UK NORTH) (HOME-BASED BASED IN NORTH OF ENGLAND /SCOTTISH BORDERS /SCOTLAND CENTRAL BELT) A new vacancy for a Sales Manager (UK NORTH) with leading provider of specialist services to Manufacturers, Installers and Product Developers in Construction/Built Environment markets. Home-based in the North of England /Scottish Borders /Scotland Central Belt area , the Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting the growth of the company by identifying, qualifying and securing predominantly new business. Candidates for this Sales Manager (UK NORTH) role will ideally come from a Construction Materials background, with at least 5yrs experience in a sales/business development role selling to Manufacturers, Installers or Product Developers in the Construction supply chain. The successful candidate will be a tenacious and energetic self-starter with strong networking & negotiation skills and real desire to win new business. This will be an excellent opportunity for a top-flight sales professional to join a well-established company with ambitious plans for growth over the next five years. Key requirements : – A Construction industry background with Building Materials knowledge and a consultative sales style. – At least 5yrs experience in a high-level sales/business development role that has involved dealing with Manufacturers, Installers or Product Developers in the Construction supply chain. – Consultative sales style with ability to assimilate technical/engineering concepts. – Self-starter, tenacious and energetic sales professional.
