Our client, a global leader in innovative measurement systems for the process industry, is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team. What You\'ll Do
Deliver on-site services including commissioning, breakdown support, service checks, and training while working with our client\'s products. Provide expert remote technical support via phone, email, and on line platforms. Identify opportunities for ongoing service work at customer sites. Troubleshoot equipment issues with support from Sales, R&D, and Product Management teams. Contribute feedback from customer interactions to help improve products and develop new solutions. Assist with testing new product developments and support the processing of returned equipment. Maintain and promote safe working practices across all industries served.
What You\'ll Bring
Strong communication skills and a confident, calm manner when dealing with customers. A background in electrical/electronic engineering - a formal qualification is preferred. Hands-on experience servicing or repairing electrical/industrial equipment. Knowledge of industrial measurement equipment and techniques. A logical, problem-solving mindset with the ability to learn quickly. Strong understanding of on-site health and safety procedures. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Full UK driving licence and solid time-management skills.
Preferred Skills
Qualification in electronic engineering. PC proficiency, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
