Process Engineer/MANUFACTURING (Engineered Materials for Electronics & Telecoms) (CANDIDATES FOR THIS ROLE MUST BE EITHER BASED WITHIN COMMUTING DISTANCE OF MARLOW / HIGH WYCOMBE / MAIDENHEAD ALREADY, OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE AT SHORT NOTICE) A new vacancy for an experienced Process Engineer with small UK division of global Manufacturer or high-performance Engineered Materials used for a wide range of Electronics, Electrical and Telecoms applications. Based at the company’s Manufacturing facility in Buckinghamshire, the Process Engineer will play a lead role in the development of innovative solutions to complex Engineering & Manufacturing problems, applying Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies to enhance the systems and procedures adopted/used on site. Key responsibilities will include: * Design and prepare concept drawings of new equipment or modifications to existing equipment * Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering and manufacturing production problems through identification and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes * Prepare documentation for new manufacturing processes and engineering procedures * Responsible for maximising cost effectiveness and reliability towards manufacturing flow, processes and equipment. * Refine and enhance processes by applying continuous improvement and key lean manufacturing production principles and techniques; recommend product changes/improvements to Product Engineers Ideal candidate profile : * An individual with strong practical experience in process engineering and manufacturing engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment. * Someone with strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to utilise automated measuring tools, and strong understanding of automated manufacturing equipment control plans * Bachelor’s Degree in related engineering field, with relevant experience * Capability and willingness to work ‘hands-on’ on projects without supervision * Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, project management, FMEAs and quality systems * Working knowledge of APAQP control plans and PPAP validation plans What would be on offer: * Solid employer present on the market for over 100 years. * Career growth and opportunities: promote from within! * Collaborative and empowered work environment where team spirit is at the center of our success. * Company values that encourage trust, respect, collaboration and professional growth. * Open environment: excited to hear your ideas! * Attractive compensation and benefits packages designed to hire and retain the best talents in the industry.
