We are on the lookout for a driven SCADA Engineer to join a pioneering Operations & Engineering team at a new R&D facility in Manchester. This permanent position places you at the technical core of high-impact projects, supporting the rollout and optimization of complex SCADA systems across manufacturing and energy-integrated environments.
You will work closely with internal teams and third-party vendors, bringing clarity to communications, precision to documentation, and insight to system performance and commissioning. From reviewing client specs to troubleshooting live installations, your role will be both strategic and hands-on.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Analyse and comment on SCADA specs and scope documents from clients and design partners.
- Source and manage proposals from specialist SCADA subcontractors and vendors.
- Coordinate across substation, BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), and O&M suppliers to ensure alignment on SCADA integration.
- Review technical drawing sets and documentation from external SCADA vendors and Engineers of Record (EORs).
