A new vacancy for a Technical Sales Executive (Physics) with a leading manufacturer of precision measurement instruments and sensors used for a wide range of scientific and industrial applications. Based at the company's headquarters in Oxfordshire, the Technical Sales Executive (Physics) will be part of a small team of scientists/engineers providing technical pre and post-sales support and training to customers in the UK and overseas. The role will be office-based in Oxfordshire, with occasional overseas business trips.
Main Duties:
- Pre and post sales technical advice to customers
- Customer support and product troubleshooting
- Sales, marketing and competition analysis as required
- Performing customer training sessions
- Attendance at tradeshows and exhibitions
- Other duties at the request of a Company Director or Manager
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent written communicator
- Good interpersonal attributes
- Well organised
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Must be able to work in a team
- Relevant industry experience and a Physics or Geophysics background with education to a degree level is preferred.
- Overseas travel will be required in this role.
