A new vacancy for a Materials Test Technician/Project Coordinator with a leading UK provider of specialist services to construction product manufacturers and installers. Based at the company's facility in Hertfordshire, the Materials Test Technician/Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing projects, coordinating and distributing tasks, assisting technicians, and collating test reports to ensure on-time delivery and effective use of resources.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience working in a laboratory/test environment in at least one area of specialisation or expertise.
- Physical testing in a particular area or specialisation.
- Knowledge of test procedures and requirements.
- Experience managing, organising, and conducting tests in compliance with relevant procedures, requirements, and regulations.
- Ability to judge the technical integrity and soundness of test results.
- Experience collating test report information from different sources into one coherent document.
- Good understanding of stores & goods in/out procedures.
Salary and benefits include:
- Starting salary: circa £32,000 per annum
