Site Support Services Technician (Materials Test Laboratory) - Watford, Herts (THE ROLE WILL BE FULLY BASED ON SITE, SO CANDIDATES MUST BE LIVING WITHIN REASONABLE COMMUTING DISTANCE OF WATFORD.) A new vacancy for a Site Support Services Technician with leading UK provider of specialist materials testing services to manufacturers and installers in the building industry.
Based at the company's test facility in Hertfordshire, the Site Support Services Technician will be responsible for supporting the company's team of Laboratory Technicians to ensure the smooth running of their tests on-site; assisting in the setting up, installation and dismantling of test equipment and facilities; and in the maintenance and upkeep of the site, and general site services activities as required.
Candidate Profile : Experience in areas such as Site Maintenance & Support, Yard Management, operating CNC Machinery/hydraulic equipment or Stock Control/Warehousing.
Professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
Impartiality, calm under pressure.
Good communicator.
Able to follow instructions when given, can readily work unsupervised, used to Handbook work.
Regular contact, liaison with the Test Support Supervisor (your line manager).
