Manage the Enquiry logging system to ensure all enquiries are correctly logged and allocated to the appropriate department.
Assist with managing the company bid schedule.
Assist with planning, arranging and documenting bid review meetings.
Manage the internal process for approval of bids and proposals.
Maintain and update the company's CRM system with relevant customer and project information.
Support the business development team in preparing and managing tender documents, proposals, quote packs and reports to ensure consistency across the department.
Assist with compiling the Order forecast and management of departmental spreadsheets.
Provide reports and related business data as required.
Support the business development team and document meetings with existing and potential future customers.
Qualifications and Skills required:
- Excellent organisational and planning with the ability to meet deadlines and achieve outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and familiarity with company databases such as OneDrive and SharePoint.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft projects or Microsoft dynamic would be an advantage.
- Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to liaise with and build effective relationships with both internal and external customers and key stakeholders.
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplined team environment.
- Enthusiastic with drive and motivation.
- Good negotiation and diplomacy skills.
- Experience working within Defence / Aerospace industry preferred.
- Occasional UK travel may be required.
