ETS is looking to hire a skilled, qualified, and motivated Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic fleet services team. This is an independent role based at our local Armadale workshop.

Your day will consist of an interesting variety of work including:

  1. Undertaking service and repairs on our fleet of MR trucks, EWP’s & small plant
  2. Attending to breakdowns & repairs
  3. Carrying out inspections in a timely manner to required standards
  4. Maintaining a safe & clean work area

As a passionate and skilled Mechanic, you\’ll have the opportunity to achieve a great work-life balance (Monday to Friday – no FIFO) while earning a competitive income.

Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge and experience working on diesel trucks and hydraulic equipment is preferred
  • Ideally you will have a technical and practical understanding of EWP’s, utes, chippers and vegetation maintenance equipment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to accurately complete work-related documentation is essential.
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised and autonomously in a sole charge workshop.
  • A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures.

Salary Package includes:

  • Competitive hourly rate plus overtime @ 1.5 times
  • 12% Super
  • Fully maintained ETS vehicle (incl fuel card), iPad & phone
  • Optional Monthly RDO (rostered day off)
