We are seeking an experienced and motivated Meter Services Supervisor – Plumbing to join our team at Bridgewater. Reporting to the Operations / Contracts Manager, this dynamic, hands-on role will see you actively leading our statewide plumbing operations and working on the tools alongside your team, where needed. This role requires a strong leader who can balance customer service, team leadership, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate plumbing activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Support the Operations / Contracts Manager in delivering the contract scope of works.
  • Ensure all induction requirements are completed before fieldwork commences.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
  • Determine work programmes, ensuring that programming of work is in the right order at the right time.
  • Communicate all contractual requirements, such as incidents, within specified timeframes.
  • Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.

Key Requirements

  • A trade certification or diploma in Plumbing & current occupational plumbing licence.
  • Previous experience managing a team, preferably in a utility trade environment.
  • Construction Industry Safety Card (White/Blue Card).
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Detailed experience and understanding of metering practices, processes, and procedures within the plumbing industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and detail orientation.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
