Job Description Field Service Engineer \n Location: Birmingham based covering UK and Ireland \n Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Overtime + Pension + Company Vehicle \n \n Days Based \n Reference: 7563/HH \n \n The Company \n Based within a very successful and well-established service organisation supporting a wide variety of client end users our client is looking to recruit a service engineer to complement their existing service team. \n Key Skills \n ·Engineering qualification, electrical or mechanical, or time-served equivalent. \n ·Hands-on service, maintenance, or field engineering experience. \n ·Comfortable being away 2 to 3 nights most weeks, and with occasional overseas trips.. \n ·Full UK driving licence, and physically able to do hands-on furnace work. \n The Role \n ·Planned maintenance, servicing, and reactive call-outs on vacuum and atmosphere \n furnaces, to schedule and spec. \n · Fault diagnosis on site and safe, correct repairs. \n · Hot zone relines on vacuum hardening, brazing, and carburising furnaces, working accurately with graphite, carbon fibre, and molybdenum.
