The Role

Maintenance Manager (Electrical Bias) to join a leading food manufacturing business. Based at the clients Preston site, you will lead a highly skilled engineering team responsible for maintaining eight production lines. This is an excellent time to join the business as significant CAPEX investment is being made across the site, offering the opportunity to work with new machinery, modern technology and continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop a skilled team of maintenance engineers.
  • Manage all planned and reactive maintenance activities across eight production lines.
  • Drive equipment reliability, minimise downtime and improve plant performance.
  • Support the delivery of major CAPEX projects and the commissioning of new equipment.
  • Ensure the highest standards of health, safety and engineering compliance.
  • Work closely with production to maximise efficiency and achieve operational targets.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Electrical engineering background with previous maintenance management experience.
  • Proven leadership experience within a food, FMCG or high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
