Key Skills:
- Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical
- Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery
- Understanding of PPM systems
The Role:
- PLC Programming and Fault Finding (Allen Bradley, Siemens)
- Proven experience in the use and implementation of PLC systems and automated production processes.
- Knowledge of robotics, pneumatic, mechanical systems
- Proven ability to use a logical approach to problem solving and root cause corrective action (RCCA).
- Familiarity with formal problem-solving techniques such as SGA, DMAIC, 7-step, PDCA, 5 Why and Fishbone Diagram.
- Experience with SCADA Systems
- Knowledge of equipment OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), planned maintenance and spares control
- Proven ability to implement project schedules and plan effectively and on time
- Experience with capital investment for new or improved equipment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Significant experience in electronics and/or automotive manufacturing is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
