Key Skills:

  • Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical
  • Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery
  • Understanding of PPM systems

The Role:

  • PLC Programming and Fault Finding (Allen Bradley, Siemens)
  • Proven experience in the use and implementation of PLC systems and automated production processes.
  • Knowledge of robotics, pneumatic, mechanical systems
  • Proven ability to use a logical approach to problem solving and root cause corrective action (RCCA).
  • Familiarity with formal problem-solving techniques such as SGA, DMAIC, 7-step, PDCA, 5 Why and Fishbone Diagram.
  • Experience with SCADA Systems
  • Knowledge of equipment OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), planned maintenance and spares control
  • Proven ability to implement project schedules and plan effectively and on time
  • Experience with capital investment for new or improved equipment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Significant experience in electronics and/or automotive manufacturing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
