  • Mon-Thurs: 6-2pm, 2-10pm, 21:45-06:15am
  • Fridays: 6-1pm, 12:55-19:35pm, 18:45-23:45pm

The Company

Based within one of the UK’s leading FMCG manufacturing groups, my client is looking to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer to add to their existing team. The facility in Middleton will benefit from further investment this year to increase capacity. This manufacturing giant is part of a global group with over 100 years of manufacturing experience, making it an extremely secure group.

Key Skills

  • Apprentice Trained in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience of PLC Systems & Automated Machinery
  • Understanding of PPM Systems

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an experienced, time-served Electrical Maintenance Engineer
  • Have experience with boilers, effluent experience, pumps, valves
  • Be comfortable working in a regulated environment and complying with the procedural processes this involves
  • Be experienced in carrying out planned preventative maintenance activity, identifying corrective maintenance required and carrying out this activity
  • Be familiar with Lean Manufacturing concepts; familiarity with 5S, Root cause analysis, and continuous Improvement would be advantageous
