My client, a market leading food manufacturer to all the major multiples, is looking to expand its management team at its Leeds manufacturing plant. The company is an extremely well established business, with over 700 employees at their purpose built site. As part of their continued expansion, they are looking to expand their current operation.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering electrical & automation related projects across the site. Design, develop, & implement PLC programs of new equipment & system upgrades. Modify & troubleshoot existing PLC & HMI programs. They have an array of PLCs from Panasonic, Allen Bradley, Siemens and Omron.
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for onsite system testing, commissioning & validation of automated equipment. You will also maintain documentation for electrical schematics, program backups & system changes and be hands on PLC programming in an industrial environment. You will therefore have a strong understanding of electrical schematics, control panels, sensors & actuators. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
