A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a UK owned leading food manufacturer, a growing and supportive organisation. The company is extremely well established with over 85 years of manufacturing experience and is a truly British manufacturer, privately owned with over 200 people on site in the High Peak. They are looking to expand their engineering team due to increased growth in their market share.

Requirements:

  • Apprentice trained in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience of Packaging Machinery.
  • Multi-skilled engineering background.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Time served engineer with a mechanical bias.
  • Fast moving manufacturing experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. You will also be able and willing to work on packaging machinery, conveyors, multi-vac machines, gearboxes, pumps, general mechanical work, and other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will have the opportunity to broaden their skills considerably.
