The Company
An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s instantly recognisable FMCG manufacturers, a leading manufacturer specialising in food manufacturing. The Role
- Supporting the Projects Manager with the planning, building, installation and commissioning of all elements of new build project work across the Group.
- Ensuring there is a safe environment for those who work in, or visit, any of our manufacturing facilities.
- Identifying and delivering against opportunities to implement changes and continuous improvement projects to maximise plant efficiencies and energy optimisation.
- Managing projects contractor performance whilst on site to ensure the most effective and efficient fix.
- Supporting the introduction of new equipment to our market-leading production facilities as part of our continued drive for innovation.
- Building effective relationships and communicating clearly with stakeholders, managing expectations where required.
- Continuous professional development through industry specific training.
- Working with our technical team to ensure audit readiness at all times.
Essential
- Demonstrable experience within a similar project engineering role, including the planning and delivery of new installations.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience of project planning, including the administration associated with production and presentation of GANTT charts, timelines, project plans, etc.
- Time served multi-skilled engineer as this role will require hands-on support.
- Great communicator.
- A true problem solver in all areas.
