Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Wrexham

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Healthcare + Pension

Continental Shift pattern 2 Days 2 Nights 7-7

An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the most secure food manufacturing groups in the World. The plant in Wrexham is one of the UKs flagship food processing manufacturing plants of its kind. They continue to expand, based on the reputation they have built for quality delivery of products to all the major multiples they supply to, they have become an extremely secure employer, in the North of UK.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery
  • Food Experience
  • Time served multi-skilled engineer, qualified to a minimum level of City Guilds/NVQ with the IEE 17th Edition wiring regulations qualification
  • A food industry background or experience of clean room working requirements such as Dairy or Pharmaceuticals would be advantageous
  • Experience in your discipline after completion of an apprenticeship
  • Ability to develop a working knowledge of various cooking, depositing, sealing & packing equipment along with conveyor systems and all forms of electrical & mechanical drive systems
  • Ability to read and understand all forms of electrical and mechanical schematic diagrams and flow charts
  • Some experience of working and maintaining PLC controlled machines

There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
