Location: Sheffield

Salary: £55,000 + Pension + Benefits

36.5 hour Week: Monday to Thursday 8.30am-4.30pm, Friday Early Finish

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and automation activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies. The jobholder will work on a day based role and be responsible for strong / clear communication links between shifts and relevant departments. The ideal candidate will come from a fast moving automation & controls background, should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served electrical engineer with a strong multi-skilled pedigree with continuous improvement and PPM experience. You will have worked on PLC controlled machinery, within the capacity as a controls and automation engineer. On a day to day basis, the machinery will be for example, extruder machinery, conveyors, fillers, wrappers, and other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
