My client is one of the world's leading manufacturers of packaging solutions to the engineering and manufacturing industries with over 80 years of experience. The group has gone from strength to strength on a global level and continues to grow through product innovation and a reputation for excellence. Due to further expansion within the British market, they have the need to recruit a mechanical design engineer from their Bristol office.

The Role

As an Automation Controls Engineer, you are responsible for developing controls and electrical system design solutions in conjunction with the latest safety standards and based on engineering principles for Machine Systems’ customers. You will be part of the Engineering Technical Team delivering capital end of line packaging automation projects from initial planning, build and commissioning within the Yate factory, through to installation and sign off at customer sites.

  • PLC programming using Allen Bradley, Siemens or Schneider platforms
  • Experience of safety standards
  • Supporting system installation, testing, and documentation

KEY SKILLS

  • Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical
  • Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery
  • Understanding of PPM systems
