The Role:
Working in the days team, the Mechanical Engineer is responsible for managing the upkeep and reliability of certain assets on site. These can range from Aluminium Smelting Machinery, furnaces, shredding/crushers. Improvement of site assets through RCM and Capex projects. Manage the life cycle maintenance plan to ensure strong refractory reliability. Manage large capital budgets to perform all refractory and body maintenance.
